NHL University of applied science is a local Dutch university of applied sciences with more than 1000 exchange students. NHL is a modern,spatial building, long and beautiful architecturally. . Being a Dutch institute, means that most are Dutch speakers and the minority are exchange students. Naturally, most programs are in Dutch and very few are in English. In contrast, Stenden Hogeschool is an international institute.
NHL University of applied science has 23 different exchange programs. There are top notch facilities- from the libraries which are equipped with fast computers, quiet rooms to study, individual chairs for laptop users and so on. Moreover, the university has MAC computers equipped with the best Adobe programs, an editing room-with 3 sets of screens- perfect for editors, the AVC center where you can rent camera and video equipment free of charge just by showing your student card.
As a student you have the privilege to borrow any books you want from four libraries accross the city. Such libraries are NHL, Stenden, Van Hall Larenstein University and public university.
